Rasha Khayat

Rasha Khayat of Germany was raised in Saudi Arabia, now lives in Germany, and runs the WestEast Diva blog, a window into the Arab world for native Germans. She writes fiction, as well as for the theater and newspapers, translates, and received the 2016 Kühne Prize for Best First Novel for Weil wir längst woanders sind [For We Are Elsewhere Now]. Khayat participates in the IWP Fall Residency courtesy of the Max Kade Institute.
